Finnish electric snowmobile taking over Norway
Spring has been a busy time for the eSled team, with a big electric vehicle conference in Oslo and subsequent test drive tour in Norway. The new eSled Aurora has been touring Norway for the past month, with more test drives coming during the summer (if the snow allows).
Norsk elbilforening (Norwegian electric Vehicle Association) tried the eSled at Nordic EV Summit, the full video can be viewed here.
”The design also does not provide the same buoyancy in the front when driving in loose snow.
– This is a so-called trail scooter. It is made for groomed trails, not for getting ahead in loose snow, says Matti. The main target group is ski resorts and safari operators.
For these target groups, eSled must be optimal. You can control all the scooters on one and the same app, and both stop them or give them the desired speed limit. It is especially nice when driving on safari.”
